How we choose, and how links work

Lucevio is an independent beauty edit. Everything on it is here because we think it earns a place in a real routine — not because a brand paid for the slot. No brand can buy its way onto the list.

Affiliate links

Some of the outbound links on Lucevio are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay Lucevio a small commission, at no extra cost to you. The price you see is the price you would have paid anyway.

Commission never decides what makes the edit, and it never changes the order or the wording of a recommendation. If a product stopped being worth buying, it would come off the list regardless of what it earned.

How a product makes the list

We favour a short shortlist over a long one: a single strong pick per step beats twenty options you will never compare. We weigh the formulation, how well a product does the one job we are recommending it for, and whether it is genuinely easy to buy in Europe. We would rather leave a step empty than fill it with something we do not rate.
